This past week has been so beautiful watching the flowers bloom everywhere and enjoying the essence of a real Spring for a change here in southern California. Ronn and I have been very busy with various charity events such as, the Unstoppable gala that he was asked to present at. Unstoppable provides education for children in Africa and has made the difference already is so many children. It was a black tie affair with Ann Archer, Bob Proctor and Dyan Cannon who hosted the gorgeous gala.

Devin and Ronn Moss

Ronn then performed with Peter Beckett at the Canyon Club, as Player, who joined Ambrosia, Stephan Bishop and the one and only Michael McDonald and his wife Amy to benefit a little girl named Darcy who is battling cancer. I think you guys know by now how much we lend our time and efforts to charities that benefit children and animals. The Canyon Club event was a great success and a lot of fun and we were honored to be a part of it.

Player and AmbrosiaAmy & Michael McDonald

Then we got to spend some quality time with Creason and Calee due to their spring break and I managed to do some cooking for them and the band when they came over to rehearse with Ronn for upcoming gigs. The feeling of excitement was in the air all week leading up to the 5 Emmy nominations for our series, “The Bay” which includes “Best Digital Drama Series” and “Best Actor, Kristos Andrews” along with “Best Actresses, Mary Beth Evans, Lilly Melgar and Patsy Pease.”

The Bay Emmy Nominations

The thought of adding two more Emmys to our household is just so surreal! In addition to “The Bay” Emmy nominations, we are in getting ready to shoot more episodes in May and have even more exciting news to share with you guys soon on the amazing progress our Bay family is making! There are many exciting new beginnings for our Bay family and our own family to share with you soon!

Right now we are just excited to be healthy and happy to celebrate this Easter weekend with our wonderful friends, as we look forward to what’s ahead in our future both personally and professionally. Wishing you all a wonderful Passover/Easter weekend!

It’s been hard for me to put the past week into words because our whole trip to New York and The Hamptons was quite an adventure. When I booked this adorable little bed and breakfast in Southold, because we were attending a wedding in the Hamptons; I had no idea how far I was from East Hampton where the actual wedding took place. On top of the fact that mid July is the busiest time of the year to even go to the Hamptons! So it took a bus ride called, “The Jitney” and two ferry rides to get to the other side of Long Island, once I landed at our bed and breakfast called, “A Walk In The Woods.” Trust me they didn’t name it that for nothing, because it’s nestled right in the woods with nothing around it for miles! There isn’t even a sign to find it and our taxi driver got lost in the woods trying to find us! So it’s really a miracle that we made the wedding fifteen minutes before it started considering what we went through to get there.

walk in the woods copy

You see it all started with a walk back in time for me when I got to see Ambrosia, Player, Robbie Dupree and Stephen Bishop onstage together for the first time in Jersey, Staten Island and New York City. The venues they played at were simply gorgeous and the audience couldn’t get enough of the music. That sound takes you back in time and they are all just simply amazing! So the shows were so much fun and it was obvious that the fans felt just like I did. The boys got mobbed after each show for autographs and photos and I predict they will be doing a lot more shows! So if you haven’t caught one yet, you are really missing out! After three concerts,  Ronn and I had to catch our Jitney to make the wedding and couldn’t find the pickup spot and ended up missing the bus we were scheduled and prepaid to be on! On top of the constant phone calls to Jitney, it started pouring down rain! I was concerned that we would even make this wedding, however kept the faith and was determined to get there!

When we were finally picked up and dropped off in the little village of Southold, it felt like we had walked back in time. Everything looked so quaint and had that small town feeling everywhere. Even the Chase bank was small and cute. We then had to get a taxi to take us to our bed and breakfast place, “A Walk In The Woods” and he had a bit of trouble finding it. However, once we got there, we were greeted by the owner, Flo, who we thought looked just like Jeannie Cooper! I was already tired and hungry from the Jitney jaunt, but figured we had three hours before the wedding to get ready and get there. Flo informed us that we would have to take two ferries and with the amount of traffic around there, we could be hard pressed in making that wedding. Hey, I’m use to traffic in LA and this place seemed like a picturesque postcard that you saw 30 years ago of a small town, how much traffic could there possibly be? Ronn and I decided to take a little nap in our adorably decorated room.

FullSizeRender-2

I was quickly informed that a car would have to pick us up two hours before the wedding to get us through the ferries to get there on time. So there was no time to nap, we had to get showered and dressed and get going! The process felt like we were characters of a romance novel trying to get to our destination as we were scooped up in a car and the car drove onto the ferry parked with other cars as we sailed across this body of water. It was something both Ronn and I had never done before and it was a gorgeous day, so we were enjoying it. Ronn got out of the car and took photos of course. Flo was right, it took every bit of time we had to make it through the quaint little villages that led up to East Hampton and to the Maidstone Inn where the wedding took place.

IMG_2818

Needless to say, we both downed a couple of glasses of champagne immediately upon arrival to toast the fact that we made it on time! When the bride and groom learned about our adventure to get there, we were offered a room that became available nearby so that we could join them the next day for their wedding brunch. So at the end of the night when we tried to get a taxi to take us 3 miles down the road, we quickly learned that would be impossible because of all the people that were in the Hamptons. So Ronn thought we should just get some exercise and walk it since it was a beautiful night. It was a good thing I had on flat shoes, but walking 3 miles was not easy at midnight after a few glasses of champagne! This adventure just didn’t stop! The next day after the brunch, we headed back to “A Walk In The Woods” to enjoy our last evening and relax. We even saw a deer walking around who stopped and took a good look at us!

IMG_2815

IMG_2821

After our Hampton experience it was time to head to New York and see some sites, such as, “The Freedom Tower.” Again it was a lot of walking around, but totally worth it. We ended up in “Little Italy” for a great Italian dinner at a wonderful place called, “Puglia.” Ronn and I enjoyed walking around 5th avenue and Bryant Park where several fans from Italy recognized him and asked for photos. Our adventure continued as we made our way to Times Square. I said goodbye to Ronn as he continued on to Ohio for his next concert and I spent the day alone drinking in Park Avenue and made my way to Gramercy Park to visit my fashion designer girlfriend, “Lantie” before heading off to the airport to return home. It truly felt like I had walked back in time and returning home felt so great. Reflecting back on the past week has become a memory I won’t soon forget. It’s great to have these kinds of experiences, but there is no place like home!

IMG_2822

June 25th is my birthday and it fell on a Thursday this year, so I really wasn’t thinking of doing much more than going out to dinner with the family. I didn’t feel like I could possibly top my big blowout a couple of years ago anyway. However, I found out a very special young lady named Carlyn had her 14th birthday the day after mine and she too was from my home state of Louisiana. Now Carlyn is pretty special because she is also part of our “Bay Family” which consists of quite a lot in cast and crew. Carlyn’s mother is our Bay publicist and Carlyn has diabetes. So when she expressed with such excitement that we should celebrate our birthdays together this year; I just couldn’t resist doing it to see her beam up with joy.

IMG_2320

Carly as we call her, was already planning what kind of cake we should have while we were filming the Bay and even though I didn’t have throwing a birthday party on my mind, it was impossible not to do it for her. I thought a good old fashion house party would be perfect. Plus, we haven’t had a Potluck Jam Party in quite some time. It kind of went with being a Louisiana girl to have everyone bring a dish and participate. I wanted to take the time to spend with Carly and some of my girlfriends who I had not seen in a while. So it was awesome to hang out in the pool and Jacuzzi with the girls, while we watched Ronn and his buddies grill.

 IMG_2318

Throughout the day, other friends joined us and brought over more food. Some of my girlfriends have autistic children and they joined Carly, along with PLAYER and some new and old musician friends we were excited to hear sing. One of those friends was the $100,000 Star Search winner in the singing category from my year, Miss Peggi Blu. I had not seen Peggi in 30 years, so this was such a blessed treat. She was joined by Guns n Roses Keyboardist, Chris Pittman and New Zealand’s Steve Cooke. Vocalist, Shannan Rene’ Parks brought the house down with her powerful voice and Carlyn surprised everyone and sang, “Baby Come Back.” I also got to hear our 16 year old Calee sing with PLAYER, and like her daddy, she’s got the music in her! Our little flower girl, Trease Baker showed off her set of pipes as well, and she’s only eight!

I cooked red beans and rice and we also had grilled BBQ chicken, amazing salads, fried chicken, potato salad and watermelon. It felt like we were right back in the south the way we were carrying on eating, drinking and dancing to some killer music! The evening flew by and needless to say, both Ronn and I were completely exhausted by 1am, which was around the time the last of our guests left. I had to see Ronn off the next day as he joined Ambrosia in Oklahoma for the start of their summer tour. So I’ve been left alone to rest and relish what an amazing birthday I had and how blessed I was to have shared it with Carly. I didn’t expect to have received so many amazing gifts, from flowers, orchids, perfume, candles, scarves, handbags, makeup bags, champagne, wine glasses, martini glasses, crystal candle holders, wine and gift certificates, cards and DVD movies, my birthday was filled with love, laughter and blessings galore!

 IMG_232110404254_10207373036466385_1982661625649247356_n

I felt 25 again and decided to switch my numbers to this birthday to reflect just that. I mean 50 is the new 30 right? Age is just a number anyway and I certainly felt good on my birthday just to keep up the pace with all those kids around me! We jammed the night away and it seemed to just fly by so fast leaving us wanting more. They say like energy attracts like energy and the energy all day was magnetic. We were all on a great high from the love and positive energy around us. It gave me such joy to feel that and to share it with Carlyn!

Australia has had an ongoing love affair with Ronn for decades now. It was seen firsthand during his last two solo tours, but magnified greatly during this last month as Ronn and Player toured around OZ. I saw the constantly quest for photos everywhere we went and from young and old, men and women, seems everyone was thrilled to see Ronn and show their love.

 Devronn on the harbour

That’s what’s so amazing about Australia, the land and people are truly beautiful and it shows in spades. They are polite with a light and happy attitude that says, “No worries mate, everything is alright.” So as we spent our last week enjoying this love affair, we knew we would have to come back to the reality of the fact that it was just a visit. However, the memories will last a lifetime and what memories they have been! Our Aussie love affair is indeed just beginning with new friends that we have made and new adventures we will be having together.

 Rob, sam, Pete

Player has now made a new stamp on the Aussie’s hearts and it was shown in their smiling faces, as they lined up each and every night to greet Ronn and the band for photos. The Aussies have a stamp on our hearts as well. We all enjoyed their hospitality and warmth everywhere we went.

Rob & Pete in concert 3

We were all spoiled to great seafood like prawns and oysters and fish and chips. Aussies also take their coffee seriously and their cappuccinos were amazing! There are even institutions dedicated to Baristas and coffee. However, these cappuccinos were strong and would have you hopping around like a Kangaroo if you had too many. I could only have one a day. The tour took us through some northern cities like Coffs Harbour and Twin Towns where we saw the most beautiful beaches, however we didn’t have much time to spend on them due to the hectic schedule of the band.

 angels

Ronn usually had press days on the days off, but Peter and Eden got to go further north and enjoy parts of Queensland. We did all make it to the Featherdale Park to see the animals together. And Ronn and I had a beautiful private tour of the Sydney Harbour compliments of designer, Cristina Nipoti and Vesna Perry.

 Kangeroo

Ronn and I had a hair makeover by fame hairstylist, Alan Buki and I was given an awesome flat iron for my hair by EVY personalized with my name on it. Our tour promoters Roy and Enza Ortuso treated us to some fabulous dinners and did everything to make us all feel at home. Player had the most fabulous crew taking care of them backstage with our tour manager Stu Marks, sound engineer Andrew Troy and Sam the man who made sure the guys were always in tune.

Roy & Enza closeup
But it was the devotion from the fans that was indeed beautiful to see at each and every performance. They expressed how much they missed Ronn as Ridge Forrester and let him know how much he meant to them. I saw mothers and daughters, grandmothers and husband and wives tell Ronn how much they loved watching him each and everyday for years.

I think it’s safe to say we will be returning to the land of OZ and I for one hope it’s soon!

As we come into the home stretch of the Aussie Player tour this week, it’s safe to say they have hit a home run with every performance and the fans can’t seem to get enough of them. There have been such a diversity with the audiences that attended the past shows. Women are coming with their moms, grandmothers and husbands to the shows and seem to really enjoy every moment of  not only Player, but Ronn’s playful interaction with them before he brings Player on stage. There has been a lot of laughter, dancing and photos after the shows. Long lines have formed for the purchase of merchandise and photos with Ronn and the band.

Last night the stage was filled with women from age 20-80 dancing to their encore and it’s amazing to watch how much fun everyone is having on this tour. We have had a hectic week of traveling between Coffs Harbour, Twin Towns and Campbelltown and back to Sydney for much needed rest. Peter was starting to lose his voice the past few days and poor Jimmy had a stomach bug from something he ate, but they pulled off amazing concerts nevertheless. With only three more shows left in this tour, we head to MacKay and Hornsby later this week and then it will be time to say goodbye to one of our most memorable trips.

We have all made some new amazing friends and the tour crew couldn’t have been more wonderful. It has truly been an experience of a lifetime to explore this beautiful country and the people here. So now that OZ has gotten to know Ronn a bit better and has been introduced to Player, it’s probably in the cards that we will someday return to OZ to rock out once again. I know next week is Thanksgiving for our friends back home and want to wish them a happy Turkey day. Speaking of turkey, we saw a few live ones walking around our hotel. We also saw these creatures called, “water dragons” that hang out like pets everywhere.  The boys freaked out over a huge snake crossing the road on our way back from Twin Towns and we learned even though it was huge, it wasn’t dangerous. It seems OZ has a lot of creatures that we just don’t have in America and alot of things that could be deadly. They also have creatures that look deadly, but aren’t. So I guess you just can’t judge a book by it’s cover around these Aussies.

There are pristine gorgeous beaches in northern Australia, but we had no time to spend on them due to soundchecks and three shows in a row. I did manage to visit one in Coffs Harbour briefly for a photo. Today Ronn and I actually saw the pool in our hotel for the first time in three weeks and did absolutely nothing. It was a good day to just rest and chill out after so much traveling the past few days. We were happy to see Player Angel, Eden join us last night and she was able to help me get the fans dancing onstage at the end of the night. I made our sound engineer Andrew an honorary Player Angel because he’s been the one I’ve hung out with the most during the tour and I now call him, “Girlfriend.” I do anticipate a growing number of Player Angels will be forming now and will have those Player T-shirts available on Ronn’s website soon!

It’s hard to believe we are half way through the tour and our Aussie Adventure has been so amazing. The fans have been responding so positively at all of the shows and standing in line for hours for photos and autographs. They also seem to love the questions and answers from Ronn and the behind the scenes clips. There hasn’t been much down time the past couple weeks for Ronn with all the press, but now we have a couple of days to relax and regroup here in Sydney. So tonight we are going to see the group YES in concert and later this week we will have a private tour of the zoo.

The band has become tighter as a whole and the venues and stages have been so nice. I shot a lot of great video footage and wanted to share some highlights with you here. The boys are having a blast, having been eating quite well and obviously enjoying their Aussie adventure. It’s been weird for me being the only female hanging out with them and some of the things I hear coming out of their mouths having been so comical. I can’t wait for Eden to get here so I have another Player Angel to hang out at the shows with. Since the shows have been nearly filled to capacity, I have been sitting in the sound booth with our engineer Andrew, who I call my girlfriend. I’m so use to being up close front and center, but these Aussie women are so enthusiastic about the shows, that it hasn’t been possible for me to get that privilege so far. I don’t mind and have been having a blast watching the love shown to them. It’s been a dream for me to show you guys firsthand what I see all the time in our garage during rehearsals. Our Aussie adventure will continue and I will try and keep you up to date with more photos and videos along the way.

It’s strange being on the other side of the world where it’s summer in November and we are seeing Christmas decorations out, but it feels like July heat to us. And we are missing another Thanksgiving back home this year. All in all we are in major gratitude for all the love and affection you guys are showing us online and in person everywhere we go and sending you the love right back!

Our trip down under has been nothing short of an exciting adventure. Player has been on fire at every concert so far and the fans are showing the love for Ronn and the band after every show. Player and Ronn Moss T-shirts and CDs are selling like crazy and there have been some female fans that have displayed their affection for Ronn with a tattoo of his face on their thigh! And this fan was only 26 years old, which has been surprising. Seems we have been seeing younger fans gracing the shows that have been watching Ronn on B&B most of their lives! We even had a female fan who came all the way from Malaysia for the Melbourne show and told us that Player has many fans there as well.

10599572_10152672712008156_8153915665991390464_n

Our tour manager Stu has been taking really great care of us backstage as you can see on the Livestream I surprised you guys with last week. We have been treated to great food and company by our promoter Enza and Roy Ortuso and each and every Aussie we have met has been so warm and friendly. Ronn’s cousin Joan and her husband David made it to the Melbourne show and it was terrific to see her. I have a few friends of my own that will catch a show while we are here that I haven’t seen in a while also. Ronn’s very own BBQ Sauce is now available for orders on our DevRonn website and it comes in a mild and medium spicy gluten free flavor that you will just love!!

We had a blast at the Melbourne Cup and now everyone is talking about Ronn’s man bun as they like to call it when he was a guest on Rove’s show, “The Project” yesterday. Magazines “TV Weekly” and “New Idea” have talked about Ronn’s visit and Player appeared on the popular “Morning Show” with their live acoustic version of “Baby Come Back.” It seems the press can’t get enough of them and it has been a bit hectic this past week with the concerts and all the press, so these past couple of days has been nice and relaxing for all of us and much needed.

 Devin Melbourne Cup copy

It’s so nice to really see the beautiful country of OZ up close and personal. We even got to see some Kangaroos in the wild on our drive into Canberra. Next week we will all visit the zoo together and get to see more. Since we have been here it’s been expressed countless times that the fans are not taking to the Nu-Ridge very well and Ronn is and always will be their one and only Ridgerido and that’s never going to change for them. We love the land of OZ and we are looking forward to the rest of the tour and want to visit more often!

This past week was a hectic one as we scrambled to prepare to head down under for a month. It was crazy busy for us because Ronn was shooting late days on “The Bay” as John Blackwell up until the day before we left home. So we didn’t get much sleep and there was so much to do before we left. I was busy putting the finishing touches to our newly revised DevRonn website in preparation for the launch of Ronn’s Kickass BBQ Sauce. There is still a bit more things I need to finalize before we can start taking orders and I will let you know when that is soon!

RoNN's BBQ Sauce hot***** - Version 2

So as we continued to prepare to hang down under for the next month, I started to get excited about how much of an adventure our Australian stay would be for all of us. There are a lot of first time things that we are all doing down under. It will be Player’s first tour and it seems fans are super excited for them to hang down under with them! Ronn and I saw our first soccer game tonight as Sydney won against Mariner. It has been such lovely weather and I could see the excitement building as the friendly Aussies welcomed us with open arms.

photo 2-2photo 1

Tomorrow we head down to Melbourne for the elite Melbourne Cup as guests of Emirates Airlines. And then we will meet the band back in Sydney to kick off the tour. The Aussies have been super sweet and they seem to have missed Ronn greatly. The concert is selling out and Ronn has been doing tons of press on a daily basis.  New Idea magazine came out last week and this week Player will go on “The Morning Show” to sing “Baby Come Back” live. It’s so beautiful to see the reaction to fans here in OZ, they are just so genuine and down to earth. I have met so many amazing women and men who have a real admiration for Ronn and who seem super excited to see the concert!

Baby Come Back is now running in a Toyota commercial and has been for the past three years, so it made sense to kick off this tour down under. There is also a horse named after Ronn running in the Melbourne Cup and as guests of the Emirates Airlines we are proud to be here and looking forward to a great day! So far hanging down under has been nothing but fun and we are having a blast! I know the tour will be a slam dunk kickass fun time for everyone and can’t wait to share lots of pics and videos with you guys! Who knows I may just surprise you with a livestream soon! In the meantime, stay tuned for the launch of Ronn’s Kickass BBQ Sauce and more amazing surprises!!

It’s been a hectic time for both Ronn and I as we are dealing with many business related things before leaving for Player’s Australian tour. Ronn has been in the throws of editing a new Ronn’s Garage and putting together a visual presentation for his solo part of the OZ tour which has gotten a tremendously positive response. It’s apparent OZ loves Ronn and he loves those Aussies! So this should be a super fun tour and the first time Player will perform overseas, so the boys are really excited!

Player’s new drummer, Jimmy Carnelli is an expert diver and is looking forward to diving the Great Barrier Reef and I’m looking forward to meeting so many of you! Of course I will be blogging and doing Livestreams to keep everyone feeling like you are right there with us! Right now I’m just grateful for life’s little blessings that have been bestowed on us recently. In spite of the setbacks that I’m sure all of you can relate to in one way or another, sometimes setbacks are indeed life’s little blessings and a way to help us stay in gratitude.

Since our world’s economy has been in the toilet for quite some time, financial times have been trying and economic setbacks make living in our society a strain for many. One has to constantly evaluate their situation and prepare for the worst, yet hope for the best. It’s all we can do and my heart goes out to all who are in economic hard times right now. I think we can all relate to the suffering that is going on in our world and how it has a trickling effect on the masses. I have a section in my book, “True Age, Timeless Beauty” on finances and how to overcome the stress to keep things in balance.

10006597_281857031981052_287548002_n

Trust me, I can relate and know what I’m talking about because I’ve been there many times in my life and it’s during these hard times that life’s little blessings appear through these hurdles in ways you may not recognize at first glance. I’m saying this because I feel the pain of our world suffering when I read tweets and postings of others who are going through hard times.

Life’s little blessings can sometimes disguise itself as an obstacle and the timing could be leading you along a path that is to your benefit. Right now Ronn and I are dealing with such obstacles in many areas of life and they are turning into pure blessings. So I have learned to welcome the obstacles and merely deal with them with positiveness.

Wedding Pic 0004

So in preparation for this Australian adventure we are about to embark on, we are also getting ready to do an exclusive photo shoot together for the magazine New Idea this week. We are also celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary! Geez it’s hard to believe 5 years have gone by this fast! And Ronn is doing a table reading with the cast of “The Bay” this week for their upcoming shoot! I have finally posted a Livestream chat for Tuesday and I’m working on some new surprises! Can’t tell you everything right now, but life’s little blessings are upon us in spite of all the obstacles.

This past week has been filled with important, but mundane paperwork that has been needed for various things before we get ready for the Player Australian tour in November.

It’s all been part of clearing the past to make our future a bit brighter and for our focus to be consistently more creative. I’ve found it hard to concentrate on creativity when dealing with paperwork involving business.

1504053_556595951099244_1409139383_n

Nevertheless, we must sometimes focus on the mundane things in life if we are to keep things in balance. I try to do this in every area of our lives as much as possible. Thus, the inspiration for my book, “True Age, Timeless Beauty.”

10006597_281857031981052_287548002_n

When we clear the past of all things that aren’t needed or wanted, we make room for new things and tell the universe we are ready for a brighter future.

Ronn was swamped with press interviews from Australia, including an exclusive for the magazine, “New Idea.” He’s also very busy putting his musical set together for the solo portion of his upcoming Aussie tour. We also entertained friends from Belgium and Italy about possible projects relating to music and television.

10599572_10152672712008156_8153915665991390464_n

In addition to that he is preparing to shoot new episodes of “The Bay” in October, as well as, preparing for other film and TV projects that are in development for next year.

It seems like this year has flown by so fast and we have been working so hard at making all the projects happen, but there is only so much time in a year. We did take some time out for fun with artist Michael Moebius, photographer Terry O’Neill and our introduction to the one and only Raquel Welch on her birthday.

10644811_10152734188563156_8766084167563636054_n

Ronn also enjoyed presenting a best actor award to Daniel Baldwin at the Burbank International Film Festival last weekend. So we are finally enjoying some creative time at home this weekend.

10645050_10152738879803156_7099105741580752258_n

I try and pay attention to things that are required in clearing the past even though some may be mundane because I know it’s the universe’s way of saying better things are coming as a result.

I want to congratulate Julie Wooldridge on winning an autographed copy of “True Age, Timeless Beauty” for subscribing to my Woman to Woman website and thank you all who continue to support my writings. I’m so happy the book has been a inspiration and have already begun a follow up to it that I believe with help change lives.

There is still a can of Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning to give away for subscribing to this blog so that you never miss another post!

I’m working on a FREE ebook of Gluten-Free recipes to give away soon! And we want an Aussie to get the chance to win dinner with Ronn and be featured on Ronn’s Garage! Details coming soon!

It seems clearing the past has already been bringing new and interesting things into our lives and Ronn has been asked to host a show called “Hot Package” for the cartoon network. We have also been asked to guest star on a new celebrity cooking show that will film this October, so I will keep you posted on that! In the meantime, we will post a new livechat this week, so stay tuned!

It’s nice to be back home after an awesome weekend in Atlanta to see Peter Beckett and Ronn join those smooth rockin guys of Yacht Rock Revue onstage. We were somewhat worried when we woke up last Saturday morning to a gray colored day that dropped endless raindrops on Piedmont Park.  The concert had already presold 2600 tickets and wasn’t sure if it was a good idea to sell anymore given the look of the day.

But Robbie Dupree predicted the sun would shine that afternoon and the show would go, and he must be a psychic because he was absolutely right! They even ended up selling another 500 tickets at the door to a more than eager audience.

The evening had unexpected fireworks that seemed to coincided with the music, and the warm breezy air made everyone feel like they were on another planet where everyone was feeling as one. Love filled the air with a contagious energy of blissfulness, especially when Player sang, “Baby Come Back.” A bra flew up to hit Peter in the face and  I’ve never seen young 20 something year old men and women scream so loud!

 celebrity_wife_swap

I started thinking it must be because of the anticipation of tomorrow’s airing of “Celebrity Wife Swap.” Seems word is getting around that Player will be featured and I know how excited everyone is to see them in their element at home the way I do all the time.

Ronn and I are so excited to have our friends who participated in Celebrity Wife Swap with us over to watch it with us, that we are making a viewing party out of it; and yes I’ll be cooking along with a few guest chefs that will help me out in the kitchen.

I know the show will be quite funny given the things I made Tyler Christopher do during the rule changes. And I know what Brienne Christopher did with my hubby, so the only thing that can spell to me is sheer entertainment. In fact, Ronn tweets to Tyler now, “Go ahead take my wife anytime you want, just make sure I get her back from time to time.”

TylerRonWifeSwap

I’m not sure if Tyler has continued any of my rule changes, but I know I had fun stepping into Brie’s shoes for those few days and I think she had just as much fun stepping into mine. However, I’m not sure how much fun it was for our husbands with what we put them through, but hey that’s marriage right?

One thing’s for certain, Brie got one of my delicious morning ronnuccinos shirtless! I think it made her blush a bit from the previews I’ve seen. Does that make me jealous? Not one bit, because what til you see what I got from her hubby? Thank God Brie had a great sense of humor because I think I would be in big trouble or then again she may be thanking me because of the things I taught him? So all I can say is you better not miss Celebrity Wife Swap Tuesday July 22nd on ABC to find out how it all goes down!

We hope you all are having a fabulous summer so far and that your forth of July was awesome! We spent ours at the Playboy mansion and saw Hef’s amazing display of fireworks, and now it’s back to work with a little bit of summer fun in between gigs. Speaking of gigs PLAYER has a couple of awesome gigs you won’t want to miss! Coming up in Atlanta on July 19th, they will be rockin and rollin with those polyester smooth rock boys of Yacht Rock Revue for their big summer blowout at Piedmont Park. Joining them will be Pablo Cruise, Gary Wright and Robbie Dupree so this will be one concert party I am so looking forward to! PLAYER is also doing a concert in Annapolis, Maryland on August 23rd at the Rams Head and you can get your tickets for that one here.

10444687_10203461957086258_8659355781095030406_n

You may also get to see PLAYER make a cameo on Celebrity Wife Swap which will air Tuesday July 22nd on ABC and this is going to be one fun show! I can’t tell you details, but I think you will laugh alot at all the fun we had! Player will be starting rehearsals soon for their upcoming Australian tour  and I can’t wait for that! Get your tickets  for the Aussie tour now!  As you can see PLAYER is rockin and rollin it, and if you haven’t seen them in concert you are so missing out!

Ronn will be rockin and rollin when he shoots a new music video for his single “Addiction” in the next few days and he’s shooting an exclusive for an Australian magazine tomorrow and will be doing a special “Confessions” segment for “The Bay” also. I can’t wait until John Blackwell shoots the new chapter for “The Bay” because he is one bad dude who kicks ass!

By now everyone knows that Ronn will be appearing on General Hospital. We thought his debut would be Friday, but didn’t realize the Nurse’s Ball, which is General Hospital’s biggest show extends into next week. So Ronn will debut on Monday May 12th and it’s something I hope you don’t miss because it truly is special.

As a soap fan myself, I thought the concept and the storyline of this particular part of the Nurse’s Ball was very heartfelt, not to mention entertaining. I know many of you are speculating on what exactly Ronn is doing? Many are wondering what character he’s playing or if he’s singing and I for one am amazed at all the response. It seems alot of B&B fans have missed simply seeing Ronn and many GH fans are tired of new characters and want to see more of their favorites, which is understandable.

images-1 images-2

Y&R use to be my favorite soap and it’s become kinda of boring and B&B has become unwatchable in my opinion. So I have been watching GH and I love it! GH has more action, drama, suspense, surprises, romance and shocking storylines that the others don’t, which is way more entertaining. I think Internet content is taking over what daytime once was to many viewers such, as myself. A series like “The Bay” seems like a nighttime or primetime soap.

Many shows today that are on primetime such as, “Breaking Bad” and “Game of Thrones” are simply high production primetime soaps. A soap is a serial drama and daytime dramas need to change things around to keep their shrinking audience. No longer is television dominating the field, many Internet series are proving that in spades. “One Life To Live” obviously has new life on web because it’s nominated along with daytime television in this year’s Daytime Emmys.

white shirt copy

So I think General Hospital‘s marketing campaign was ingenious and they made Ronn an offer he couldn’t refuse, because it was a win/win. Fans around the world that don’t get GH will get to see this on the web after we do next week and the impact I believe could be massive. GH has already tied Y&R in ratings of women 18-49 and they have been number one in that spot for years. So I think GH could knock them down a peg after this airs.

Competition is tough today with so much interesting original content that is currently being self produced. No longer can television dominate, however they can and will start developing content currently on the web for their time slots because it just makes sense. We can produce our own shows like “Ronn’s Garage.” And I know how much you guys would love that to be on television! Just think maybe then you would get a new episode on a more regular basis instead of when Ronn has time for it.

382128_406432432788163_2123504645_n

Right now, Ronn is becoming very much in demand all over the world for various reasons. He wasn’t free enough before with B&B to have the time for a Player tour that is now happening. He was under a contract on a role that was taking over his entire life and he wasn’t feeling appreciated for what he was giving to that. Now he’s free to play, create and explore all those countries around the globe that are anxious to welcome him.

He’s also free to show you who he really is as Ronn and to show the world his talent and passions. I really have to laugh at some of the haters that constantly try to put him down. I’ve seen Ronn, Ridge and John Blackwell recently and they are all completely different characters that he breaths amazing energy into.  I’ve seen Ronn in concert and I know things that are brewing that you don’t. So like the new “Too Many Reasons” Player  song, “The Words You Say” I would almost bet some of those words will surely be eaten away very quickly as more creativity is reveal by Ronn.

Too Many Reasons

We all need to feel a sense of appreciation for our work in life. It’s way more important to follow your true passion in life than it is to work for money. The money will surely follow if true passion for what you are doing is present. That is what Ronn is doing now and I think it’s showing up all over the place. So GH was thrilled to have Ronn and it was a super fun and positive experience for him. And I do believe it will be for you too, even the haters.

We have been extremely busy fielding through various projects, some pertaining to Ronn and I together and some pertaining to Player. There have been some that are in development and some that are getting ready to start. All involving a variety of things that include, music, movies, television, endorsements and charity.

Spending time with friends and family has dominated our past week because we know we will start traveling soon and nothing make us both happier than to be home entertaining friends and creating new things that we are passionate about. We hope you enjoy Ronn’s visit to General Hospital next week and continue on this amazing adventure with us. Here’s to wishing all the mamas out there a wonderful Mother’s Day!  We are celebrating our five year wedding anniversary with some quality alone time as we prepare for the excitement of  what’s coming next!

Man On Fire is the new single from Player’s “Too Many Reasons” CD and they have just released a new video, which includes scenes from the upcoming 411 movie. Now 411 won’t be completed until next year because Ronn has so many projects in various countries and an upcoming Australian tour for Player. I guess you can say he is truly a “Man on Fire” these days.

Ronn Moss

Player just honored music legend Smokey Robinson at the House of Blues Saturday night and helped raised one million dollars for the mental health of our troops. They were joined by Aussie Guy Sebastian, Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr and Taylor Dayne singing Smokey’s most famous songs. Player sang “Tracks of My Tears” and it’s so good that they are now recording it!

This week Ronn will debut as former District Attorney, John Blackwell on the acclaimed series, The Bay as they launch their new season. The Bay Series has been a hit on the Internet and now will have longer episodes and soon will be going to television. John Blackwell may become an ongoing character and the new episode will air May 1st.

Clara & Ronn

We had a lovely Easter celebration at the Playboy mansion with pop artist Michael Moebius and Swedish artist Clara Hallencreutz who is just as gorgeous as she is talented. It was a lovely day filled with sunshine and an exotic petting zoo of animals that included lots of bunnies, miniature ponies and owls. We have just completed our audio version of our humorous relationship book, “My Husband’s A Dog, My Wife’s A Bitch” and it will be up on Amazon in the next few days.

Devin & Sandipix Easter_0001

In the meantime, enjoy the new video of Man On Fire and know that I will keep you posted on Player’s upcoming tour dates, as well as, details of our new adventures around the world!

I can’t believe it’s almost been a year since my big 5-0. Last year at this time, as we were planning my event, Kira Lorsch was beginning the brainstorming of the 2014 Thalians event. Kira and I were hanging out have a much needed girls spa when she said, “Devin if you were to pick someone to honor as “Mr. Wonderful”, what icon of music or entertainment industry would you pick, that people of all ages like, now and respect?” I immediately replied, “Smokey Robinson would be great! Everyone loves Smokey.”

The seed was planted. And here we are a few weeks away from the big Thalians Smokey Robinson Tribute Concert benefiting UCLA Operation Mend at the House of Blues Sunset Strip on Saturday April 26th.  You won’t want to miss the Smokey Robinson Tribute. His name is synonymous with Motown. “Shop Around,” “I Second that Emotion,” “You’ve Really Got a Hold on Me,” “My Girl,” and “Tracks of My Tears” are just a few of his amazing hits!

If you ever wanted to party like a rock star for a great cause here’s your chance! We hope to see you there!!!!

I can’t believe spring is here already, seems this year is flying by so fast! I love spring, seeing all the flowers bloom and preparing for the warmth that summer will bring. It makes me want to entertain and so we are having our first party of spring this Sunday to kick off the new season of “Game of Thrones.” Peter Beckett got us hooked on that series and I promised I’d kick it off with a nice shindig of a party.

So I’m cooking some Cajun grub and having a few friends over who are also die hard “Game of Throne” fanatics to drink some ale and see who gets the ax in the first episode. We are also springing forward with so many new and exciting projects. Seems many countries are missing seeing Ronn on their TV sets since he’s no longer Ridge Forrester and we are formulating new and interesting things on a daily basis with many different countries.

Player

Player is excited to do a tour in Australia this November and 13 shows are now locked down with more being added that could take us into New Zealand for December. There will also be new Player merchandise available especially for this “Too Many Reasons” tour and I couldn’t be more excited, so Player Angels get ready to rock!  I visited Melbourne back in 2005 when Ronn did the berry juice commercial, so this will be a such a treat for me to explore OZ and really spend some quality time there. The new “Man On Fire” music video with previews from the upcoming 411movie will be released soon so you can get more excited about the upcoming tour!

There is also a movie in the works with Italy’s best comedy writers who is tailoring a script especially for Ronn. I can’t tell you details on that yet, but it’s going to be quite comical and I will also be in it. We have a TV show in the works for Finland and South Africa and there is a possibility of a campaign in the Netherlands. However it’s all being formulated so I can’t give you dates of when we will be in those places just yet.

Ronn

Player is also making an appearance on a popular TV show next week and I can’t tell you what show just yet, but I know you will be excited and will give you details as soon as I’m allowed. They are also looking forward to singing, “Tracks of My Tears” to honor the one and only Smokey Robinson at the House of Blues April 26. This will be a killer show that will include, Taylor Dane and Chaka Khan among others that will make this an exciting televised event to benefit the “Thalians.

My Husband's A Dog, My Wife's A Bitch

Ronn is joining the cast of the Emmy nominated webseries, “The Bay” next week when they introduce a new character to the drama. We are also putting the finishing touches on our audio book, “My Husband’s A Dog, My Wife’s A Bitch” and I’m so pleased you are laughing and enjoying the printed version and Ebook. We are planning to release a book of Ronn’s photography in the future and I’ve been encouraging him to continue writing his autobiography. Ronn has led an amazing life growing up in Hollywood and has some incredible stories to tell from his life so this is a must. But as you know, he’s rather slow and moves at his own pace, so that won’t be for a while. In the meantime, as we spring forward into these upcoming exciting projects taking us on a new adventure, that maybe we will be visiting you real soon!

Last night we had the honor of participating in a wonderful charity called, “Songs of Love.” It was their first west coast gala and “Songs of Love” is a special cause because they create tailor made songs for children with terminally ill diseases. Everyone one there was touched by the effort that is put into each song created for a child and we all got to participate in recording one ourselves for a child named, Logan.

DSC00006 DSC00037 frank stallone-2

Amazing musical performances by Frank Stallone, JC Love & Player, Amanda Steinberg, Blu Cantrall and Alana and Those Fine Gentlemen made the evening extra special. Player now wants to donate “No More Rain” as the theme song to this charity and shoot a music video with many of these special children in it.

My pals, Brad & Tina Hillstrom, Keiko Noah and Peggy & Micah Tanous were there to lend their love and support. We all had a wonderful time and intend to do more to help creator John Beltzer continue his lovely mission. “Songs of Love” have now written over 24,000 songs for terminally ill children and these songs are given to the child as a double dose of medicine. They were featured on 60 Minutes and formed in New York almost 18 years ago by John Beltzer.

DSC00005 DSC00015 IMG_7457

Writer, producer, director, Nick Vallelonga was the master of ceremonies and put this first west coast gala together and we thank him for his wonderful efforts and including us in such a worthy cause. Although we have participated in several worthwhile charities, we think “Songs of Love” is a perfect fit for Player and look forward to helping to write more songs for these children.

It was only Ronn’s second cruise, my third and the Norwegian Freestyle cruise was terrific with mostly smooth sailing and smooth rock n roll the whole way. We did get some choppy waves the first day and it put a damper, pardon the pun, on our beach concert, which was moved back to the boat. That was a bummer because we all were looking forward to partying all day with Player, Robbie Dupree and the Yacht Rock Revue boys on the Stirrup Cay Island.

DSC00066

DSC00031

Player Angels, Eden, Sue, Robin, Joanie, Michelle and Playmate Jacqueline Sheen were there with their captain’s hats to rock it out and the cruise was filled with fans from all over the world including, Barbados and Croatia. It was funny to see people recognizing Ronn constantly and unsure if it was indeed him. Fans told us constantly how much they missed him and how they have stopped watching the show now. We heard this even from our flight attendant on the way back home.

DSCN0059

The Yacht Rock Revue boys threw a cool party to celebrate Ronn’s birthday at the Asian restaurant where the chef’s put on quite a show tossing their knives around on Saturday, and then we all headed over to  the Bliss Lounge, where everyone had on headphones and was rocking out to different music, but all you saw were people dancing in silence. We thought the cake was funny cuz it said, “Happy Birthday Ridge” on it.

DSC00037_4

IMG_0745

Player and the Player Angels announced the winner of the Player contest and a big congrats went out to Liz Ryan from Texas who won a beautiful baby blue electric guitar signed by Peter and Ronn, along with a Player necklace, T-shirt, CD and photo. We spent our days drinking Bahama Mamas and rockin out to American Idol winner, Kris Allen, Shadow Box and our boys until the wee hours of the morning everyday.

DSC00042_2

By the time we reached the Bahamas all Ronn wanted to do was sleep late, so we never got off the boat because he didn’t want to do anything except relax. I did manage to have a mini afternoon at the spa and got in a massage and facial and it was so nice to hang with our friends from Indiana, Doug and Kathleen Gilmore. We enjoyed Cagney’s Steakhouse with great bottles of wine together there.

DSC00016

All in all the cruise experience was perfect because it wasn’t too long and the food was great overall. Kid Rock was the next one up on that cruise ship and Sixthman who puts on these rock cruises are interested in having Player join in on some future European cruising. So it’s safe to say this won’t be our last cruise and much more fun to come for all.

DSC00008

This past weekend I felt blessed to have the energy to attend a few holiday parties. Since it’s been almost 3 weeks since my surgery and I’m experiencing no pain, my only issue has been lack of energy. So pacing myself has been the key to my success in this department. I didn’t even think I would be recovering so nicely and my sleep pattern is the only thing that needed to get back on track. Since I sometimes feel tired in the middle of the afternoon and would nap, it would be hard to sleep through the night without waking up at 3am.

Candi and me copy

We managed to celebrate a lovely Christmas with a nice big tree and all the yummy food that goes with the holiday season. Creason and Calee had fun opening a few presents I managed to get on my one day shopping spree and it was great to catch up with some wonderful friends we hadn’t seen in a while.

I met a lot of old friends that grew up with Ronn, which is so cool that he has that connection with people he knew since he was in diapers. And we managed to go to the Playboy mansion for a movie night to see “Anchorman 2” which happens to be one of Ronn’s favorite comedies. I think I’ve seen Anchorman with Ronn and the kids at least 20 times!

20131228_215514

20131228_215345

So now I’m resting and saving up my energy for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day in which we have parties to attend on both of those days and I’m hoping to be back to my old self by next week and maybe even back at the gym!  We also have the Yacht Rock Reveue boys coming over to visit and do a Ronn’s Garage. Player will also join them on stage at the House of Blues this January 4th as we celebrate Peter Beckett’s girlfriend Eden Ayer’s birthday.

dev 2 copy

I’m super excited about 2014 and can feel it in my bones that it will be a huge year for us all. Player has a tour in the works with Little River Band and Ambrosia that they are trying to get scheduled for the US. And Player is honoring Smokey Robinson for the “Thalians” charity gala at the House of Blues here in LA on April 26, which will also be televised. We are heading to the Bahamas on a cruise with the Yacht Rock Revue and Player on Feb 26th, so that should be super fun! And Ronn will help honor Michael Douglas for Unicef on Jan 14th.

Devronn copy

So I think we will start 2014 off with a rockin good time and some damn good music and of course I’ll keep you all posted on all the Player dates coming up. I have lots more to tell you on many other surprises, but that will be another blog. So for now just know that we wish you all the best of 2014 and we are all very excited about the coming new year!

Last night Ronn and I attended the annual Thalians Christmas party held at the Bel Air Country club.  It was our second appearance and a special evening for “Player” who performed a few songs to kick off what is coming in 2014.  Hosted by Ruta Lee and Kira Lorsch, the Thalians has been honoring all of Hollywood for 60 years now. They raised over 1 million dollars for their event at the Playboy mansion that honored Hugh Hefner and will now honor the one and only Smokey Robinson at the “House of Blues” on April 26th. Player is proud to be a part of the headlining acts that will pay tribute to Smokey’s legendary songs.

The Thalians has been giving proceeds to help the mental health of our troops and is committed to this cause that enables our troops to heal in both mind and body. They have honored stars like Clint Eastwood, Sammy Davis Jr and Lana Turner in the past 60 years and are now looking to honor young Hollywood in the future. This prestigious and generous charity is what makes Hollywood the unique and powerful club that they are and we are proud to be a part of them.

Ronn

I was happy to see my dear friend, Mary Ann Mobley there last night, along with Cheech Marin and Kerry Gordy who will also be celebrating with us on April 26, 2014 as Player headlines in honor of Smokey Robinson at the House of Blues. I can’t wait for that evening will be one night to remember and it just may be televised!

It seems like the summer flew by so fast for us and it’s already almost Halloween, where does the time go? Ronn has been in and out of town with the “Sail Rock” tour most of the summer and is about to finish it with a Canadian concert date scheduled for Oct 8th in Toronto. During the summer actress, Victoria Rowell, known for her role as Dru on “The Young And The Restless” called Ronn about a role on a new project she was writing. Victoria was anxious for Ronn to read, “The Rich And The Ruthless,” a satire comedy about the making of you guessed it, a soap opera. Apparently, Victoria wrote a part especially for her “Diagnosis Murder co-star, Dick Van Dyke and Dick just couldn’t do the part even though it was written especially for him. But, Victoria thought Ronn could totally fill in for Mr. Van Dyke, are you following me here?

51sZr+EUgQL._SY344_PJlook-inside-v2,TopRight,1,0_SH20_BO1,204,203,200_8c65b577dedfabf67e2e9fa0181410a2 victoriarowell

So “The Rich And The Ruthless” will shoot sometime before Thanksgiving and Ronn thinks the project is hysterical. In addition to writing for television, Victoria has written a best selling novel, “Secrets of A Soap Opera Diva.” and just released her latest follow up novel, “The Young and The Ruthless.”  So I think she’s well qualified to bring such a project to fruition and with Ronn on board, their Aussie fans should be very happy indeed. What’s cool about “The Rich And The Ruthless” is that you can contribute and be a part of the making of this pilot. Check it out and see how here. I’m thinking Victoria and the cast of the “Rich And The Ruthless” can all join Player in the Bahamas next February on the Norwegian Pearl Cruise Line to rock out with “The Yacht Rock Revue and Player! together on this trip of a lifetime. You too can join us in the Bahamas!

In the meantime, we will look forward to the filming of Rich And The Ruthless and I of course, will keep you guys posted on any and all Player appearances!

I think Prince coined “Jam of the Year” as a song on his “Emancipation” album, but it’s ours now. For some reason, we love rockin out on Mondays. First the Canyon Club for my big 50th birthday and now Labor Day weekend will always be etched in our brain with the Jam of the year. We had REO Speedwagon’s Bryan Hitt on drums and REO’s guitarist Dave Amato rockin in with Player. It was so hot that all we could do was dance our asses off all night long.

photo.jpg1

It’s not everyday I have tons of people dancing in my garage, but no one could sit still and had to get up and grove to the music. I cooked red beans and rice for my vegetarian friends and a killer gumbo. Ronn grilled chicken and tri tip and others brought tons more food to add to our Player Potluck Jam of the year! This was so good, we may make it an annual event.

Right now it’s almost 4:30 in the afternoon and I’m just now having a cappuccino to wake myself up and function properly. I’ve not partied this much since, well my birthday at the Canyon Club. But, when Player jams no one can sit still. We had a great group of friends old and new come in and out throughout the evening to share in on all the fun. Patrick Warburton brought out cigars and added to the cool vibe. Al Stewart, who is famous for his hit, “Time Passages” and “Year of the Cat” is always a wine expert who happens to look like an executive, but the boy can jam!

Nothing like the fun, positive, loving energy that engulfed our house and made our jam of the year so wonderful. Our kitchen looked like an explosion hit it this morning. Tell me why does everyone love to be in the kitchen at house parties anyway? Oh yeah, food! So with fun friends, great food and music it’s a given that we call this the jam of the year with pride. Notice Peter Beckett on drums! Who knows maybe we may take our Player Jam Parties on the road along with the Player Angels and party in your hometown! More of the fun on Ronn’s Garage coming up!

When the “Sail Rock” tour began, Peter and Ronn had reservations about how it would turn out. It had been a while since Ronn was on tour, but Peter knew most of the boys that were touring in this lineup. What no one expected was for this tour to be such a bonding of genuine admiration and friendship between all of them.

20130821_171933_resized

Since I saw the concert several times, it’s safe to say I can properly critique it. Personally, I thought it was fantastic each and every time and I’m not just saying that because I’m partial to Player. All of these guys were simply fantastic musicians and filled every venue with crowds of people who I know would agree with me. The audiences participated with singing along, clapping and dancing to their favorite songs that I’m sure brought back fond old memories.

As the tour progressed, the boys had John Ford Coley open the show. John is a natural at this and his sense of humor is timeless. I have come to adore him and his jokes. I’m reading his book, “Backstage Pass” now and he writes just as he speaks. I highly recommend it. Jock who is one of the original members of “Firefall” is an amazing artist and I was very impressed with his work. The boys from “Orleans” include former NY senator, John Hall along with Lance, Lane and Fly who kept us all laughing with his jokes.

Christopher Cross was quiet at first, but once you get him talking that boy is just a good ole Texan with a great sense of humor too. Then there’s Gary Wright and Robbie Dupree who is just one of a kind and keeps you in stitches constantly. I’ve never seen Peter and Ronn laugh so much and have so much fun as they did on this tour. They have made some friends for life and as the “Sail Rock” tour slowly comes to an end I know it’s indeed a new beginning for all of them.

There  are other tours in the works for next year and Player will sail on to some exotic local. Apparently, lots of locations and other countries are now getting interested in Player. And Peter and Ronn look forward to more adventures touring and will sail on into the sunset with some fun in the sun.

Christopher Cross & Ronn

I think the future looks very bright for all these guys because this music is timeless and classic and will never go out of style. You may not recognize the musicians instantly, but you certainly recognize the music. I think anyone that went to the “Sail Rock” concert will agree it was one of the best shows this summer!

It had been almost two weeks without hubby while he continued his “Sail Rock” tour with Orleans, Firefall, John Ford Coley, Robbie Dupree and Gary Wright. I needed some alone time as I was still grieving losing my Romeo.  However, meeting hubby in St. Louis excited me and the thought of continuing on to Finland was something I was looking forward to since I’ve never been there. I had to board an early flight and my morning started off with a series of surprises. The car I ordered to picked me up was upgraded to a stretch limo and the driver, Saloman was amazing. He even offered to stop at Starbucks for my morning cappuccino! I thought he followed my tweets or was just sent from heaven to make my morning brighter. We had a enlightening conversation and got to the airport effortlessly and on time.

It was nice to visit St. Louis and I hadn’t been there is many years. The crowd in the Family arena was enthused about the concert and it seemed that all the talent was having alot of fun so far with this tour. They had just played New Jersey and Indianapolis with great crowds as well. I had a wonderful chat with Christopher Cross who invited us to visit Texas. It’s funny but Ronn was conceived in Texas and has been all over the world, but never to Texas, so I told Chris that we just may take him up on that offer. I’m just happy to see Ronn having fun on this tour and making new friends. It’s just wonderful that he’s so happy and doing what he loves and it’s awesome how positive the fans are responding, not to mention beautiful to witness. So if you haven’t caught a show yet, I highly recommend it!

Robbie Dupree and John Ford Coley kept us all laughing with terrific stories. I promised to give John a copy of one of my books if he gave me his book entitled, “Backstage Pass” because it’s loaded with all these amazing stories.  Firefall and Orleans were all a great group of guys having a terrific time and all such talented musicians. So the St. Louis audience seemed to be having a super fun time and even rushed the stage at the end of the concert. We left early the next morning to catch our flight to Finland where Ronn does a mysterious, but cool campaign. More on that when I’m allowed to reveal, but right now I have a gag order and all I can say is that it’s pretty cool. Lots of great video and pics are coming up in the next blog!

This past weekend to Paso Robles was a first for both Ronn and I. We were there for Player’s concert lineup on the Sail Rock tour along with Firefall, Orleans, Al Stewart and Christopher Cross. So Peter and Eden thought we should naturally go up a day early and do some wine tasting. The drive was a pleasant one and the weather couldn’t have been more beautiful. There are so many great wines from the Paso Robles region and for years our neighbors who own the wine, “Opolo” has invited us to their annual wine festival of grape stomping, music and BBQ feasting galore. But, somehow between Ronn’s schedule of work and travel, we have never been able to make it to the winery until this past weekend.

We happen to also know the Hunt family which also produce a terrific wine from Paso Robles and stopped off at their vineyard for a tasting, along with the Ancient Peak, Cass and Tobin James wineries. Needless to say we had great time and I can attest to the fact that the wines of this region are amazing.

The concert drew a terrific crowd that enjoyed the fair and the moonlit breeziness of the night since the concert was set outdoors. My girlfriend Sue and her friend Brenda had a great time and joined us backstage afterwards where we were hanging out with Al Stewart and his girlfriend Jill. As we were saying goodbye, Jill miss her step into the van and fell backwards in a hard fall that ended up breaking her finger! It was a quite a hard fall and a terrible freakish accident. We all felt terrible watching her finger swell as the ambulance came to take her to the hospital. She was remarkably calm and all she and Al could talk about was having us all get together for a dinner party at their place once the tour was over.

Such a lovely couple that we are sending love and light to right now for Jill to have a speedy recovery. I don’t think any of us will forget our past weekend in Paso Robles for many reasons. Great wine, friends old and new, music and serene scenery made it memorable enough to say, we will be back!

I was on such a high this past week from the Player concert. It was a night of celebration, love and just plain good fun that was had by all last Monday, as I embraced my dearest, sweetest friends from all over who came to spend that magical day with us. And I’m sooo not exaggerating, it was indeed magical. Many of the beautiful sweet puppies, kittens and dogs found homes. Kim Sill, founder of Shelter Hope Pet Shop had every volunteer working their little tushes off just to celebrate lil ole, me! 8494_585452894808487_1227553890_n (1)

So it’s really the truth when I tell you that the Shelter Hope Pet Shop volunteers take what they do way seriously and with pleasure, joy and just plain beauty all around. That was the best damn birthday party a girl my age could ever hope to have and I was never more grateful, loved or celebrated than that evening. My favorite band in the world was singing just for me, okay and you too!  No one at Shelter Hope Pet Shop expected what would happen the day after such a wonderful, beautiful event like our Canyon Club concert with Player. I really was on a beautiful high and so to hear the sad news the very next day that one of our sweetest most angelic volunteer Phillis Armstrong passed away of heart failure, was devastating to say the least to, not just me, but everyone.

Phillis touched everyone who met her and no one was as dedicated as she was as a volunteer, lover of animals and just plain good natured and good hearted soul. A sadness was felt even if you only saw a photo of her like this one of her in the green skirt holding that little furry bundle. Phillis embodied what an animal rescue lover truly stands for and her dedication will not be forgotten. We can only follow her example in giving of ourselves and to our society when we give from the heart and soul such as Phillis did in her seemingly short life.

So as Ronn and I take our journey tomorrow and carry Player with us when they join Orleans, Firefall and Christopher Cross in Del Mar, we will also take Phillis as our angel guide to help us continue our magical journey forward with her sweet spirit and the essence of that last magical evening spent with her. Phillis will forever be a part of Player now as we meet more Player Angels around the world, we will always carry our sweet angel Phillis in our hearts.

Mondays will always have a specialness to it now because I’ll never forget how we rocked out on a Monday with Player at the Canyon Club. The event was a great success to say the least. We filled the house and rocked it big time! Shelter Hope Pet Shop was amazing and I want to thank all the volunteers who put in all their time an effort on the decorations, gift bags and red carpet. Kim Sill, founder of Shelter Hope Pet Shop went overboard on an amazing cake that was too delicious and a great time was had by all.

We had REO Speedwagon in the house along, with artist Olivia, Michael Moebius, Katherine Kelly Lang, Winsor Harmon, Allie Mills, Orsen Bean, Adam Gregory, Linda Thompson, Sheree J. Wilson, Renee Tenison, Sean Kanan & Bud Cort all getting down on the dance floor to the music of Player. The band was amazing and the evening couldn’t have turned out better. We raised over $5000 for Shelter Hope Pet Shop and more donations are coming in everyday on behalf of my 50th birthday, so thank you all so much! We can save quite a few animals with this money. Fans flew in from all over the country to see the band and I had my best buddies and most awesome Player Angels on hand to help me as my ladies in waiting. I say that because all my girlfriends spent the weekend with me and they were all waiting on me hand and foot. So they bought me a tiara and made me Queen and they were Princesses. We all decided to wear our Player tank tops and I wore my tiara all night long being the Queen was fun!

My only regret is that some people brought me gifts even though I said, “NO GIFTS!” As a result I put them in my gift bag and at the end of the evening that bag was gone and so were my gifts and my tiara! So the quest to find my tiara and gifts is ongoing here. Anyone who has it and won’t give it back will be beheaded!! Thank you Kira Reed Lorsch for being the best MC ever!

I love this time of the year when the flowers are blooming and summer in on the horizon, but it always gets so busy with events, parties, movie screenings and BBQs. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining because I love having a full life, it’s just the beginning of being a busy bee and it’s already started for us. Ronn is a busier bee than ever with Player rehearsals for the upcoming June 3rd charity event at the Canyon Club in honor of my big 50th birthday. I have so many girlfriends flying in from Louisiana, Texas, Chicago and New Jersey who are staying with me, so we will have a full house the weekend before to celebrate. We have quite an interesting guest list of people coming to the event, so it should be a terrific evening!  Putting together an event like this one is time consuming and requires every detail to be attended to in advance. I want everyone to have an excellent time and have Shelter Hope Pet Shop raise alot of money to save as many animals as possible in the next year. They saved over 400 last year!

In addition to planning this event, I’ve made some changes to the 411 website and haven’t announced Ronn’s leading lady yet because there are some scheduling issues to deal with due to other offers that Ronn has been receiving, and we are trying to fit everything in. Ronn will also be touring this summer with Player for the US Sail Rock tour with other artists such as, Orleans, Christopher Cross, John Ford Coley and Firefall. So he’s is going from one event to touring to filming and there are no breaks in between.

As you know, we are also going to Italy in mid June for the Taormina Film Festival in which he doing a speaking engagement that he must prepare a presentation for. And there’s always Ronn’s Garage to edit and film, so my dear wonderful hubby is a busy busy bee. I’m also working on a new website devoted to everything that women love called, woman to woman. I will feature amazing women in all areas that we women want to see such as fashion, health and beauty. So see I’m a busy bee too, but I also want to try and have some fun!  So I think as busy bees it’s going to be a great fun filled summer that I for one am looking forward to and I will try and keep you updated as usual on things as they progress!

Okay this will be one exciting event, not to be missed. PLAYER will perform at the the Canyon Club on June 3rd to celebrate my 50th birthday and all proceeds will go to the Shelter Hope Pet Shop. I wanted to do something big in celebration of my 50 years on this planet and my wish was to have everyone I know to be there with PLAYER performing. I DO NOT want gifts!!

PLAYERIMG_2112

This is my gift having all of you be there with us to celebrate! Tickets are on sale now and there are three levels of seating. The best value is the VIP tables  which seat 6 people per table and include open bar and dinner. There are only 11 left as of now and are going for $1200 per table or $200 per person. The next level is at $98 per person in which you must make a dinner reservation. The third level is at $49 and standing room only. This will be an awesome event benefiting the amazing Shelter Hope Pet Shop  which has helped rescue so many animals and place them in great homes. It is the only rescue center in a mall and I’m so happy that we can help this great cause. So I advise you to RSVP your tickets sooner rather than later for the best seats.

Ronn wanted me to share this video he made to make you guys feel like you were there with him and KKL at the Laura Biagiotti fashion show. We also want to congratulate Brian Liss who won our contest for the new autographed Player CD, “Too Many Reasons” that was released worldwide today. This is what Brian wrote about Player.

Brian Profile 2

There are just “Too Many Reasons” why i wouldn’t fall in love with the band “Player” and it’s awesome music. I first got hooked on “Player”
music back in 2008 when I found out that my favorite actor on the daytime hit show “The Bold And The Beautiful” was a famous musician before his
acting career. So i looked up his name and that is Ronn Moss who played Ridge Forrester and is also the bass gutarist for the group “Player”. My first
song that I ever heard was “Baby Come Back”, such a really great song that you can listen to over and over again and now i can say it is on my list of songs
that you know by heart.
My other favorite moment that i really loved about the group “Player” is back in 2010 if i get my years right. It was around Christmas time and i saw
this video on youtube when the group was rehearsing a Christmas song in “Ronn’s Garage”. This was before Ronn’s web series.
My favorite members of “Player” are Peter Beckett and Ronn Moss because they are two founders of the group. I also love all the other songs “Player” has done in the past, i recently purchased a greatest hits CD of the band and it is in my car and I can listen to the group over and over.
I had a chance to see the group live back in 2008 but i did not know they were in the Boston area, otherwise i would have been to both of their shows at Twin River Casino in Rhode Island.
Every song has touched me in different ways, the music the band sings touches your heart, it’s relaxing music to listen to anytime of the day. I am looking forward to hearing new music from such a talented group of musicians. And when I hear “Baby Come Back” which i think is the bands signature song to date.
My biggest dream right now is to see “Player” live and in person. Not only when you listen to them on a CD, it is a lot better to see the group live and share every song with a large audience.
So one can say that there are “Too Many Reasons” how you couldn’t fall in love with music from the group “Player”………
