We have been in Belgium for a week now and have finally adjusted from the jet lag as Ronn rehearsed for his preview performances of the live musical comedy variety show “De Bolle en de Beautiful,” which we are excited about. Tomorrow is the first of 3 private performance for press and VIP people over the next three days. The actual  performances start on July 22nd in beautiful Blankenberg. In the meantime, DevRonn has an a two week European vacation and will visit friends in Germany, Amsterdam, Paris and Italy! Of course I will be livestreaming and taking you guys with us through our adventure over the next four months that we are based in Belgium. It’s been such a blissful and relaxing time thus far in Belgium. We have already visited the beautiful city of Brugge which is minutes way from the beaches of Blankenberg and plan to go back many more times to take in the gorgeous canals and beauty of its uniqueness. So for now I am feeling blissful in Belgium and will keep sharing more pics and videos, as well as,  social media and here on our blog throughout our summer as we will continue exploring more cities like Antwerp and Gent. Fans of all ages have been wanting to take photos with Ronn as we walk around the town of DeHaan and what’s aweome about Belgium is that most people speak English, as well as, Dutch, French and German depending on where they live. Everyone is so polite and the food is awesome!

Mr Prince is having a ball eating great filet steaks and french fries and he even got to see the New Power Generation perform  in concert and met up with Andre Cymone backstage. He also seems to be enjoying his daddy’s rehearsals and the stage director and crew think he’s a cool dude just like his daddy!

I think my hubby is having is having a great time doing this show and being able to stay for a while in one place! Ronn has some TV appearances and more musical concert surprises coming up this fall that I will be taking you guys to so stay tune and keep following because the best is yet to come!! Wishing everyone back home a great 4th of July!!

It’s hard to believe we are officially in the month of March already! Seems like Christmas was just yesterday and now spring is just around the corner, but after the recent rains we have been having, I’m ready for the change of season and a bit of sunshine. Just as we have the changes of seasons, we must embrace the changes in our lives and look at new beginnings as blessings to embark on new adventures. Since our recent presidential election, we have seen so much division between personal friends due to their beliefs and values. I personally have never known anyone to delete me as a friend due to my religious or political beliefs in the past and found this recent action between personal friends highly unusual. Personally, I feel it’s driven out of fear and makes no sense whatsoever, however, the division and fear present is a very real observation and I have compassion for it. This why I choose to write my thoughts down in hopes of enlightening and inspiring others through example and knowledge from what I’ve learned thus far in this thing called life.

Recently, we have made some new and wonderful friends that share our common values and beliefs, as well as, desire to help lift and enlighten others. These are the new beginnings of amazing relationships that we hope will become life long friendships. It’s sad when you see friends that you were once close to seemingly fall off the face of the earth. It’s even more telling when those once close friends can’t even share, like or retweet anything you post on social media! Truly, it boggles my mind because that’s why it’s called social media, so that we can interact more and be social. I know celebrities that we know personally also that never want to be social with you online, which is so funny to me. It’s like hitting that like, share or retweet button is just not possible although I’ve known them to spy on me in livestreams or follow my social media. I look at this behavior and just shake my head and laugh.

It’s become obvious that so many people are simply out of balance in many areas of life. Balance is the key to being able to handle changes in life and getting your life in balance in all areas is what my book ‘True Age, Timeless Beauty” is all about. I learned how important balance was to all aspects of life and was inspired to write this book over a decade ago to help others understand this. It’s important to balance and health to let go of stress and understand this which is why I’m writing the follow up to that book on keeping life in balance called, ‘True Wisdom, Timeless Spirit.” I truly believe this that it’s so important to lift our fellow human beings up and have compassion for their fears. We are all connected and one in this thing called life and it’s important to start recognizing that. Be the love, the example and the light for others to follow in spite of their fears.

I was so touched recently by a thread on my Facebook page discussing our political differences when a Russian girl joined in and expressed how great it would be to have our countries get along. She went on to express how important it is to control the immigration that is constant in our country and said that from their point of view, immigrants who leave their mother country to come to America for the money are not looked upon fondly. She believes these people should have more pride in their own country and these people are seen as lazy and are not welcome back to their own countries and many were kicked out to begin with. This conversation showed me how different our point of views are and yet how human we all are. Her view was that it is good to be selfish and think first about your own country. She went on to say there is nothing wrong with that, in fact it’s considered right and respectful to do so in their opinion and that we should indeed try it.

After that conversation, I had many other online friends join in from many other countries saying the same thing and I realized how much my voice is being heard in spite of close so-called friends lashing out with hateful comments and half truths or down right crazy antics of wanting to delete their longtime friends and family from their lives just because they disagreed on their views. The bigger picture of how fearful some people are to change was so apparent and that embracing new beginnings would maybe be a challenge, yet necessary for truth growth. I feel we are all at a point in life that the evolution of your mind, body and spirit is necessary and anything or anyone who isn’t on that level should not be a part of your life. Once you evolve to this place it’s really hard to go back to living in fear and it’s not healthy. Stress kills, it ages you and it keeps you out of balance and unable to think clearly. Keeping life in balance helps you conquer fear, stay healthy, maintain positive relationships that are beneficial to growth and like ripples in a pond, we are happier and more prosperous as a result. We are able to handle anything life throws at us and still stay in balance.

So as we embark on embracing these new beginnings as a whole, I’m trying to keep my mind, body and spirit in balance and intend to continue sharing what I’m learning in the this thing called life for as long as I live. Those of you who follow me on Periscope have been in scopes devoted to this very subject in what I call “Peritherapy.” It is through sharing with others that we grow as a whole. We will continue to embrace the new beginnings with excitement and anticipation of new adventures and with hope for only peace and love in our world.

Just as the seasons are changing and that feeling of fall is feathering the air with crispness, we are starting some changes of our own at DevRonn. It’s always exciting when change comes because it brings along new adventures! There are several changes and ventures both Ronn and I are embarking on and one of them is with Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning! We are very happy to announce that it will be available exclusively in two amazing Malibu restaurants, “Zooma Sushi” and “Coral Beach Cantina.” Both of these adjoining staples in Malibu are known for their amazing cuisine and we have personally tried our spice on everything for years now and know it speaks volumes when it comes to flavor and it’s great on everything! I think they even want to name a couple of dishes after me at both restaurants. So don’t be surprised to see “Devin’s Kickass Crab Sushi handrolls” at Zooma Sushi or “Devin’s Kickass Shrimp Tacos” at Coral Beach Cantina next time you visit! These Malibu hotspots will be the first place you can taste Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning firsthand!

In other ventures, Ronn has partnered with modify watches and will be launching his own line of Ronn Moss watches just in time for Christmas! These will make great gifts for anyone who is Ronn Moss fan and there will be several cool styles to choose from! He is also working on Ronn Moss T-shirts and scarves that he will be helping to design himself! I know how much you all have been wanting him to do a scarf line of his own and I think you will love the new designs!

I’m thrilled to be honored tomorrow with an Eippy Book Award  by my dear friend Viki Winterton of Expert Insights Publishing. This award is for my lifetime support of animal rights, so Prince and I will be attending a wonderful luncheon that I will surely take you all to via Periscope! I’m also putting the finishing touches on my own personal memoir, which will chronicle my life story and my relationship with the rock icon, Prince. The website to pre-order this book is coming in December.

We are excited to start shooting season three of “The Bay” which is now showing season one on Amazon Prime. Season two will debut in November along with more insight into the mysterious John Blackwell, played so wonderfully by hubby! I’m so sure you will not be disappointed and look forward in giving you more behind the scenes on the upcoming shoot in November! I’m also excited to get back in front of the camera with my upcoming role in the sitcom, “Bruna In Beverly Hills” and will have more news to share on that soon, as well as, more upcoming surprises!

In the meantime, DevRonn Fanclub members are encouraged to hurry and renew their memberships because upcoming exciting news will be revealed in the next few days exclusively for them!

After an intense week of shooting “The Bay” we wrapped last Friday and I can honestly say; it will be the best season ever to look forward to! Ronn had a blast with John Blackwell and I think we will look forward to adding more Emmys to our mantel next year!

With Summer just around the corner, it was time for some Barbeques and that meant having a few friends over to celebrate the season finale of “Game of Thrones.” I kinda wasn’t feeling it most of the season and didn’t really enjoy it until I saw the last two episodes. The finale was an excuse for some of the die- hard watchers to come over to eat some meat and drink some wine. Ronn has his own goblet with a dragon on it, so he was pumped and ready!

This month is also my birthday, so we decided to do one of our Potluck Jam Parties so that we can visit with many of our friends before Player starts their tour with Little River Band and Ambrosia. This will be a great way to kick off celebrating summer because there is nothing like great food and friends hanging out by the pool with barbeques and great music!

Ronn and I enjoyed meeting author, Charles Dubow of the novel, “Girl In The Moonlight” at the home of my pal, Tina Hillstrom and it was also there that Ronn was presented with an original painting of John Lennon, compliments of artist, Josee Nadeau. If you recall, Josee was a guest on “Ronn’s Garage.” So we are looking forward to more gatherings this summer with friends as Player embarks on their tour, maybe at a city near you? In the meantime, you can keep up with us by subscribing to this blog or following us on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter.

We hope you will celebrate summer with your friends and family and a little bit of DevRonn at your next barbeque, because that’s what summer is really all about, right?

This past weekend was so much fun for Ronn and I. We took a rare weekend to ourselves and went wine- tasting with some friends in San Ynez, which is outside of Santa Barbara. San Ynez is simply gorgeous and known for producing some amazing wines! It was a warm sunny day and a fun time with my girlfriend Sue and our new friends, Cara and Kyle. Cara treated us to a private tour of “Grassini Vineyards” who only produce 3500 cases of wine per year, oh but what amazing wines they are!

 10_21_13_grassini_1

Grassini was also named a finalist for the best wine of 2014 for Santa Barbara. It’s always such a treat to taste a wonderful cabernet, especially when you can be a part of some of it’s first growths. I happen to know a lot about fine red wines and have experienced some great grand crus. Ronn and I spent a vacation a while back in Bordeaux and of course we have some wonderful friends who are very educated about the fine reds. So whenever we get the chance to experience a new one, it’s exciting.

 20140705_182656_resized

Our dear friends, Mike and Caroline Cusumano are very educated on small California vineyards like, Grace and Harland from the Napa Valley, so whenever we hang out with them; we experience some great reds and learn more about wines we have never heard of. If you are a wine lover like we are, then this is great fun. I’d like to think my pallet is a good one, because what is better than food and wine? We then had Jawn Star and Jimmy Carnelli over for some musical entertainment and an excuse for me to cook up some good grub! I make them sing for their supper, so to speak. This time supper consisted of appetizers such as, goat cheese, arugula and prosciutto, along with, slow cooked tri tip with Ronn’s Kickass BBQ Sauce, mashed potatoes and kale salad with fresh Strawberries.

 Image

After a meal like that, we always retreat to the garage to listen to the boys jam out some tunes. This is always a great topper to a fun day and a great meal. After this amazing weekend, I got a call from my pal Kira Lorsch letting me know that our Bay Family has been nominated for a Daytime Emmy! We couldn’t be more proud of and thrilled for this amazing cast and crew. Creator and executive producers, Gregori Martin and Kristos Andrews are simply talented and this is so well deserved. To think in only a few weeks, Ronn and I could be Emmy winners as producers is mind- boggling.

 daytime-emmy-awards-post

I was a bit surprised to hear the Daytime Emmys are being held on April 26th! That’s really earlier than the usual June. So I’m turning to designer Sue Wong for a dress to wear! I know how much you all love “The Bay” and if you are a regular viewer, you know how cool this series is! So we are all super excited for “The Bay” to bring home that Emmy!

Some great things are on the horizon for John Blackwell is all I can say! Some great things are also on the horizon for Ronn Moss. More dates are being added for the summer “Rock The Yacht” tour with Player, Ambrosia and Little River Band. There will also be some more surprises to share with our DevRonn Fanclub Members only. So be sure to join the club and find out first what it is!

Rock the Yacht

We want to wish you all a wonderful Easter and Passover weekend. This weekend is the 3rd Blood Moon and my feeling is that wonderful and positive changes are about to arise for all of us as a whole. Right now, Ronn and I are extremely grateful for the wonderful wine, Emmy and song we have already experienced and ready for what is ahead!

The past couple of weeks have been rather hectic for us. I spontaneously threw a fund- raiser for the “Songs of Love” charity on Grammy night and it was quite a turn out! However, it wasn’t without tremendous help from our very own publicist from “The Bay,” Tiffany Ladner who spent days on end putting it together.

11721_911815572172216_815129832263758342_n

It was also to launch Ronn’s Kickass BBQ Sauce, which we all are very proud of. We had some amazing sponsors for what we believe will be the first of many Kickass parties! It was held at a lavish private mansion and in honor of seven year old, Neel who has leukemia. As you know by now, “Songs of Love” provide tailor made songs for children who are terminally ill. So we all got to sing the chorus to a tailor made song that Ronn recorded for Neel who beamed with joy.

1907945_911817292172044_1154239793413378710_n10987004_911829252170848_8770296377809294088_n

I came up with the theme “A Taste of New Orleans” and want to make this an annual event for “Songs of Love” in hopes that they bring more smiles of joy to children just like Neel. I think combining Cajun food, good wine and fun people around Mardi Gras is a great way to kick off a Grammy party and I think most of the guests that attended would agree! Ronn performed with Jawn Star and Jimmy Carnelli and we had a host of exotic cars from Cluricane 490 Wine and Spirits club membership who donated a $1300 door prize to some lucky winner to drive one of those babies!

The night was awesome, but I’m rather tired from a entire weekend of charities. We had also attended the Charity For Charity event in Temecula, which was also a lovely evening celebrating the wishes of children with disabilities. Speaking of wishes, I know how much you guys have been wishing for more Ebay items directly from us, so there are tons of things in both of our Ebay stores just in time for Valentine’s Day. More personal things are coming for auction like Ronn’s very own Samsung Notebook phone!

Devronns A Taste of New Orleans Invite

I have some exciting news to share with you guys that will be coming up in our Valentine’s newsletter when you sign up on our DevRonn website. Now that you have been introduced to Ronn’s Kickass BBQ Sauce, it’s time to fire up that grill and have a kickass party of your own!

RoNN's BBQ Sauce hot***** - Version 2

As we settle into this new year, Ronn and I want to take a moment to sincerely thank you all for the countless tweets, cards and gifts you have bestowed upon us this past holiday season. I feel like this past holiday season was one filled with the utmost gratitude for us. We truly have so much to be thankful for and I believe in taking nothing for granted, especially your health.  And so we welcome a brand new shiny 2015, a year we believe that will be one of spiritual evolution for us all.

DSC00014

Ronn and I plan on doing many interesting things together this year and I am super excited about them! Our latest venture of Ronn’s Kickass BBQ Sauce is the bomb and is so good, it’s addictive! We plan to add blue cheese stuffed olives soon to DevRonn because Ronn’s loves them! And we are working on Ronn’s own wine! I plan to entertain more this year and get back in the kitchen with some new gluten-free recipes to share. Right now I’m still settling into 2015 and starting to organize myself from the craziness of the holidays.

January has always been my quiet, get organized month. I believe if you start the year out with goals and keep yourself organized, it becomes much easier to handle all that life throws your way during the year. I’m also happy to announce that I have written an article on beauty that is featured in this month’s Westlake Magazine. I’m very grateful for editor in chief, Rebecca Grossman for giving me this opportunity and hope to write more articles for this awesome magazine.  We are also bringing back the DevRonn fanclub and I hope to do lots more DevRonn live chats this year!

It has been so good to be home and see all of our dear friends during this holiday season. In fact, we have had non -stop holiday parties that we have been attending. Fashion designer Sue Wong had us at her spectacular home for her unbelievable holiday party last week. We enjoyed the Thalian’s holiday gala where Player sang. Player is now recording the 25,000th song for Songs of Love and will appear on “The Home and Family Show” tomorrow. And we enjoyed our dear friends the Cusumano’s holiday festivities.

DSC00046

Being home for the holidays is what we enjoy the most. It’s always so hectic to travel during the holidays that it is our preference. So this holiday season I am just so grateful to be home and sleep in my own bed. I’m grateful for all the love and support you guys have given us this past year during all of the new endeavors.

 DSC00015

Right now we are all enjoying the new episodes of “The Bay” and John Blackwell and as producers of this awesome series, we are anticipating some Emmy nominations next year! We are also excited about Ronn’s Kickass BBQ Sauce and just know that the best is yet to come with that as we launch smaller versions of it, along with other Cajun products at DevRonn.

  DSC00054

I’m not struggling to get into the holiday spirit after being in Australia during their summer. It took a while to adjust to being back home during a cooler climate and all the holiday festivities to get me into the spirit of it. I still feel so behind on things like cards and gifts this year and plan to do most of my shopping online! Actually, there is nothing I really want Santa to bring me except peace and love from all our wonderful family and friends. Please know how much we appreciate all of you and that we wish you only the most joyous of holiday seasons! I will post a holiday chat on Livestream soon, so if you haven’t joined Livestream please do so to chat live with us! Wishing you holiday blessings!!

So I’m finally feeling the sense of cool change in the weather and thought we needed to do some cool changes to our websites. It has been a while since Ronn’s site has had a makeover and was a way overdue. I felt like most of our websites needed a bit of something and wanted to make sure you are all with us in spirit if not in person on the OZ tour!

 Ronn-Moss_Devin-DeVasquez_0525.jpg

I can’t believe we leave just before Halloween so we will miss all the awesome parties around here, but we will be going to the prestigious Melbourne Cup! Apparently, there is a horse named after Ronn and it’s quite like our Kentucky Derby, so I must now decide on a hat to wear. There is a cool change coming to “The Bay” and we know how much you all are in love with the one and only John Blackwell. As producers on the already hit web series, I can tell you that these will be amazing chapters and there will also be a new music video of Ronn’s single, “Addiction” and all will be out before Christmas!

 Player

Ronn has a cool change coming with his very own “Ronn’s Kickass BBQ Sauce!” And when we say “Kickass” we mean it! This sauce is great with our “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning” and we are already addicted to it in our household. It’s also made in Louisiana and has a sweet and spicy flavor that is also Gluten-Free! I hope you guys are enjoying the newest interview on Woman to Woman featuring Shauna O’Brien and her gorgeous organic garden. She and Kelly Emberg have inspired me so much in that area, so we are looking forward to more from our own organic garden. Since our health is indeed the most important thing, I do hope you all stay safe from the flu and that scary Ebola, but please do not live in fear over it!

 Spice.large&small365349

Ronn and I drink warm lemon water each day as a cleanse and natural boost to our immune system. We highly recommend it, especially now. I want to be strong and healthy to get through the OZ tour and I’m hoping to see many of you down under. So get your tickets now! Player is performing at the “Last Chance For Animals” fundraiser Oct 25 and Shelter Hope Pet Shop just released its 2015 calendar featuring me. Both these animal rescue charities are wonderful ways to help our little furry friends find homes, medical care and love. So if you want to help please purchase a calendar or make a tax-deductible donation. I’m hoping cool changes are also coming your way and we hope to bring Player to a city near you soon!

 Darko and DevLCFA

I seldom celebrate my birthday on my actual birthday. It seems to always be on the weekend before or after, and given the blow out I had for my big 50th last year; it would have been hard to top that, so I didn’t even want to try. However, some of my longtime girlfriends thought we were in dire need of a potluck. Now most of you know by now what my potluck parties are like, as I’ve posted many pictures from my holiday ones. They consist of all girls who bring over yummy dishes to share, so that we can do what girls like to do and chatter, while we drink and eat to our hearts content!

Poltuck girls

My girlfriend Sue, who loves to cook more than me, brought over her spicy chili with tri-tip and someone else brought mac n’ cheese and suggested I try this combo. I must say chili over mac n’ cheese was an addictive combination. Creason and Calee made “Grape Leaves” and other dishes included, summer salads, bow tie pasta with chicken and my favorite, cupcakes!

We whipped up a pitcher of spicy Bloody Mary and a summer Bourbon Smash with peaches, lemonade, orange juice and mint to give everyone a summer buzz. Ronn was the only man allowed because he takes great photos. Potluck parties are for the girls only, but I make exceptions every once in a while. Barbara Moore wanted to bring her dad, so I thought Ronn could use a little male energy to help him out and allowed him to join us also.

Needless to say, the party lasted all day long and it was  fun to spend some great quality time laughing it up with these great gals! I’m lucky to have so many amazing girlfriends. They are beautiful, talented and smart, but most of all they have the best hearts and are all so loving and giving. I admire and adore them all! So nothing please me more than to spend the day catching up with each of them.

20140625_155449

I got amazing gifts too! A gorgeous bath robe from Barbara, a Kate Spade purse and lavender/Rosemary scented dispenser from Caroline, a beautiful orchid from Joanne, flip flops from Kim, a handmade knitted hat and waist purse from Lisa, the perfect summer dress in my favorite colors from Sue, candles, body lotion & a summer beach towel from Blanca, the hottest fashion tote bag from Mona, a gorgeous picture frame from Eden and the funniest cards galore!

I’ve never had such a perfect day spent with such lovely friends, so I’m feeling extremely blissful and happy today basking in the aftermath of it all. The birthday bliss continues with other girlfriends treating me to spa days and the celebrating will also continue this weekend. I think the older we get and the more people we know it surely becomes a birthday month of celebration.

DevRonn

We are doing all of this to tell you how much we have listened to you and how much we love all the support you have given us over the past couple years! I think contests are a fun way to do this, as there are so many of you and only one of us.  This way everyone has the fair chance to have these things and the unique opportunity to have dinner with Ronn and be on Ronn’s Garage. The meal may even be cooked by me in a local restaurant!  Since we travel so much these days with all of Ronn’s various projects, we thought this would be a unique way to come to you and shoot this. You know how meticulous Ronn is about his photography and he loves doing Ronn’s Garage, but he’s been so busy recently it’s been hard to do them. So we thought of this idea as a way to give you more Ronn’s Garage and interact even more with you guys!

I encourage you to sign up for our newsletters so that you can keep this interaction going with us, as we continue on this exciting new journey that’s happening in our lives. We know how much you love the music, the cooking and Ronn and I, so this is the best way possible to give more of that to you and continue to have fun along the way.

We will surely be going into Sunday withdrawals for our Game of Thrones parties. It all started because of Peter and Eden, or Peden as we called them. Every time I saw Peter for Player rehearsals all he ever talked about was Game of Thrones. Even Creason and Calee talked about it, so Ronn and I decided to start watching from the beginning and got hooked.  Just the sheer thought of twin brother and sister royalty having sex was enough to grab your attention. Then there was that little prick Joffery who everyone hated with a passion because he became king and wasn’t even a rightful one, but born out of incest. The characters are too numerous and the sword fighting and dragons draw you into a constant adventure every week trying to guess who will get the axe and who do you hate and want to see die anyway.

Now I rarely get into much television, but you couldn’t help but notice this series was bit different to say the least. It cost HBO approx $10million an episode and they took a year filming on location to produce 10 episodes a season. This is like watching an epic movie each week and following an ongoing serial medieval drama that has you excited to see what would happen next. Ronn has always had an affinity for the renaissance period, which may help explain his love to wrap scarves around his neck. The truth be known, Ronn Moss is completely in love with everything about this show, especially the cinematography. So I got the bright idea to have Sunday Game of Thrones dinner parties to have die hard Game of Throne fanatics like us, join in on all the fun!

DSC00045_pp_2

We went all out for the finale and dressed up as some of our favorite characters. I required everyone to bring chicken in lew of the scene in the bar with “The Hound” when he wanted to eat some chicken and ended up killing a few of the kings men. Our theater was filled with our regular die hards as I call them. My neighbor Sue always brings over the most addicting brownies and included some killer home made mashed potatoes to boot! Dr. Donald and Lisa Waldrep and their adorable miracle twins, Carson and Gracie go beyond and above with their amazing hearts of gold. They always bring so much love, light and laughter to our parties and they have become part of our family.  I think you all know by now who DevRonn and Peden are and we have added “The boys” as I like to call them to our family, Kristos Andrews, Gregori Martin and Derrell Whitt from “The Bay Series” and you complete our Sunday dinner tradition.

DSC00009_pp DSC00036_pp

Everyone enjoyed getting dressed up for the grand finale and enjoyed the evening. The chatter afterwards about what we thought would happen next season went from speculating that John Snow would fall in love with the mother of dragons, to how much Sansa was changing her appearance with her new short dark hair.  I think we will continue our Sunday gatherings to include our new Game of Thrones game compliments of Carson and Gracie!

Will that royal bitch Sussy ever get the axe? Will Aria reunite her family and use “Needle” to help her do so?  Will that big Bitch fall in love with “The Hound” and save him? Will anyone sit on the throne in Kings Landing that isn’t a little boy? We will all have to wait until next year to find out.

I’ve been wondering why this new year feels so exciting compared to last year and I think just the sheer number of 2014 sounds more exciting that 2013.

It has a vibe to it, just saying it and the fact that I personally had a fibroid the size of a man’s fist removed from me that’s not cancerous, makes me very happy to be able to see 2014 and feel the utmost gratitude! 2013 was a very strange year of transition from old to new, at least for us. Ronn shed his alter ego Ridge Forrester, and found that cool Ronn Moss that is doing music again. And he’s having too much fun traveling the world and being ultra creative.

nakedtruth

Creativity is intelligence on steroids. It’s what drives us to do what we are most passionate about. As long as we are doing the things we love creatively then monetary gains will come naturally. Being at the right place at the right time is also an important factor that often has nothing to do with how talented, smart or driven we are, but really just being at the right place at the right time.

 True_Age_Timeless_Beauty

Some can call that luck, but I tend to think it’s much more than mere luck, although being lucky is a cosmic thing also. I think it’s how much you desire something and how much energy, effort, love and passion you choose to put into your creativity that helps it manifest into reality. I speak a lot about this in my book “True Age, Timeless Beauty.” Don’t let the title fool you; it’s a motivational spiritual book that will help you keep your life in balance. I feel balance is the key to happiness in life and I use many examples of how I have done this in my book, which is on sale at discount price now!

Since we are moving closer to Valentine’s Day and love is in the air, at least that’s how I”m feeling these days. There is just an elation of endorphins that are running through my acute awareness of every emotion I’m feeling, and how powerful thoughts are becoming in manifesting my goals in life. Looking back on the past 50 years I’ve almost had on this planet, I can say that I have learned a thing or two about life, people and things. If you are paying attention to your own emotions and how they guide you to the things you desire most, you will feel something that is beyond mere words. DevRonn

Because I’m a goal driven person and an avid daydreamer, organizer and an optimist, always have been. I tend to see the good and want what’s good for all concerned because it’s what’s always best for my growth, and the planet as a whole. I know the art of manifestation because I’ve practiced it many times in many ways during my life. I have manifested my home, career, health and even my husband! All of this I point out with stories in my book, “True Age, Timeless Beauty: Finding the Fountain of Youth and All That You Desire. I wrote it to help others understand and grow in spirit and manifest even the fountain of youth if that’s your strongest desire. Remember, what one person wants or needs in this lifetime can be vastly and uniquely different for many reasons that are not physically seen.

True Age, Timeless Beauty

It is always in your best and more uplifting desire to be happy, centered and content on every level of your life.  Know that the universe will provide and give you what is just and right and at the perfect time. It is for this reason that i love the process of the art of manifestation. When I say that, I mean the process of bringing into reality, that of which I desire. When going through this process I feel excited, happy and creative. I flourish in every area of my life and go through a range of emotions that tell me my will is to be done. Eden Ayers

This process makes me feel that I am one with the universe and there could be no better place to be than the here and now. I focus on what I want and am aware of the the blessings and unique path the universe will guide me on to attain my goal. I see myself having it already, or doing it or living or being it and it is. The art of manifestation is within all of us. It’s that inner feeling that makes you excited to focus on each and every minute of everyday. It’s your passion that you need to share with all of the world. It’s what makes us unique and special, because no two people are exactly alike and we all have gifts to offer and share. It is with this wisdom that peace is born and the art of manifestation has taken your soul to it’s highest feeling of elation and bliss.

Right now I write all of this because Ronn and I are in an amazing manifestation period and since we’ve done this process together before, I know it’s going to an exciting experiences to learn and grown from. Change is growth and I welcome change personally, although most people have issues around it. Most are held back because of fear of failure. Most are afraid of the unknown, but it’s the process between the known and the unknown that’s the most exciting. At least that’s been my experience. So I love change and usually welcome it with open arms. That’s not to say, the process isn’t emotional.

With this comes change of the highest and greatest good for all of us to share, grow and learn from. Several of my friends are also going through changes with lots of emotion behind it right now and I’m here to tell you to welcome it and relish it. Be grateful for it and excited about it and most of all find love and inner peace by letting go of the fear and trust that the universe will guide you.

We hope you all had a wonderful and safe time celebrating the arrival of 2012. We certainly did. It was great to spend it with Peter Beckett and his girlfriend Eden, along with their two sons. I cooked a fabulous dinner of cornish hens, wild rice and veggies. We managed to stay up til midnight for a champagne toast and felt totally blessed to see the dawn of another new year. Ronn and I are feeling very creative now. Ronn wants to do some music and I want to do some writing before heading back home. I have a new look to my personal website and plan to add lots of videos, pics and clothing items there this year. You can now download Ronn’s individual songs for only .99 on his website and we are excited about new things that are coming to Devronn this year. I’m working with my dear friend Kira Reed Lorsch on The Thalians next charitable event. Last year they raised 1 million dollars to benefit the mental illness of our troops and honored Hugh Hefner. So this year we hope to top that with an even bigger and better event. I’m also thrilled to help several of my dearest friends find their dream homes since I now have my real estate license and must say I’m enjoying that process. So I believe 2012 is off to a great start so far. Please note we are down to our last 400 spices of “Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning” and need to spread the word about this awesome product if you’d like to keep it around, so go to Devronn and support us by buying a spice and giving one to a friend so that we can keep it around. • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 cup water
  • Salt and cayenne pepper, to taste
  • 1/3 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning

Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the onions, bell peppers, and celery and cook, stirring, until the vegetables are soft and golden, 8 to 10 minutes. Add the crawfish tails and cook, stirring occasionally, until they throw off some of their liquid, 6 to 8 minutes.

Dissolve the cornstarch in the water and add to the crawfish mixture. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until the mixture thickens, 4 to 5 minutes. Season with salt and cayenne and Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning of course.

Serve immediately over steamed rice. Garnish with a sprinkling of green onions and parsley.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb boneless sirloin steak (preferably top butt; about 1 inch thick)
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 4 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons chopped rosemary
  • 2/3 cup dry white wine

Preparation

Trim excess fat, then thinly slice steak. Toss with flour, 3/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon pepper.

Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons oil in a 12-inch heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté steak in 2 or 3 batches until no longer pink on the outside, about 2 minutes per batch, adding 1 1/2 tablespoons more oil as needed. Transfer to a plate.

Sauté garlic and rosemary in remaining tablespoon oil over medium-high heat until golden, 1 to 2 minutes. Add wine and 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and pepper and boil, scraping up brown bits, until reduced by half. Return beef with juices to skillet and warm through.

Baked Stuffed Clams

Baked Stuffed Clams Recipe

Although this recipe calls for fresh clams, you can also make this with canned minced clams (use one 6.5 ounce can, drained of all but 1 Tbsp of clam juice). Bake as directed on clam shells, or bake in a casserole dish and use as a dip with crackers.

If you’ve purchasing clams, keep them in the refrigerator covered with a damp, wet towel. If you have dug up your clams, keep them covered with cool sea water in a bucket. Throw away any cracked or broken clams.

Ingredients

  • 10 large chowder or large clams, rinsed, sand and grit removed
  • 3 Tbsp minced onion
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 2 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley (or 2 teaspoons dried)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 Tbsp clam juice (or cooking liquid from steaming the clams)
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning

Method

1 Fill a large pot with 1 1/2 to 2 inches of water. Bring water to a boil. Add the clams to the boiling water. Reduce the heat to a simmer and let the clams steam for approximately 6-10 minutes, until the shells open. Remove clams from the pot and let cool enough to handle. Discard any clams that have not opened (if they haven’t opened it means they were dead to begin with and should not be eaten).

2 Remove the clam meat from the clams (not the clam foot which is attached to the shell) and mince finely. Break apart the clam shells from their hinges. Rinse. Pick 10-12 of the cleanest, nicest looking clam shells and set aside.

3 Preheat oven to 350°F. In a sauté pan, melt the butter on medium heat and add the minced onion. Once the onions have softened (2-3 minutes), add the garlic. Cook the garlic for 1 minute, then add the parsley, bread crumbs, minced clams, lemon juice, and clam juice. Stir until the stuffing mixture is completely moistened. (If too dry, add a bit more butter or clam juice; if too wet, add a bit more bread crumbs.)

baked-stuffed-clams-1.jpg baked-stuffed-clams-2.jpg

4 Lay clam shells on a baking dish. Scoop a little stuffing mixture onto each clam shell. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan. Bake for approximately 20-25 minutes, until Parmesan is lightly browned on top.

Makes 10-12 stuffed clams. Serves 3-6.

We hope you all are having as much fun this holiday season as we are having. It’s such an awesome time of the year. A time to reflect on the past year with family and friends and look forward to the future year with hope and anticipation. I love to cook a turkey and make the house as festive as possible. Ronn enjoys playing the guitar and singing with the band and friends visiting. This year we are thrilled to just stay home and enjoy the simple pleasures like trimming the tree with the kids and a few friends. We are also excited about our appearance in the Hollywood Christmas Parade that will air on December 10th. PLAYER did an awesome performance in it and Ronn, Creason, Calee and I get to ride on a float. There are numerous Christmas parties we are attending and I will throw my annual girls, “Potluck Christmas” with all my gorgeous girlfriends. Hope you are enjoying the Happy Christmas video and will spread it around. I did the  fancy camera work and it was the song the band originally wanted to sing in the Hollywood Christmas Parade. Ingredients

  • 5 1/2 pounds chicken pieces (drumsticks, thighs, and breast halves with skin and bones)
  • 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds andouille* or other spicy smoked pork sausage, cut crosswise into 1/4-inch-thick slices
  • 3 medium onions, chopped
  • 2 celery ribs, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 4 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 2 cups chicken stock or broth
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 (14- to 16-ounce) can whole tomatoes in juice, drained and chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne (optional)
  • 2 1/2 cups long-grain white rice, rinsed and drained well
  • 1 cup thinly sliced scallion greens
  • Devin’s Kickass Cajun Seasoning

Pat chicken dry and season with salt. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a 10- to 12-inch heavy skillet over moderately high heat until hot but not smoking, then brown chicken in batches, without crowding, turning once, 6 to 8 minutes total (add remaining 2 tablespoons oil as needed between batches). Transfer to a bowl as browned.

Reduce heat to moderate and brown sausage in 4 batches in fat remaining in skillet, turning, 3 to 4 minutes. Transfer to a paper-towel-lined bowl as browned.

Pour off all but about 1 tablespoon fat from skillet, then cook onions, celery, and bell pepper in skillet over moderate heat, stirring occasionally, until onions are golden brown and softened, about 8 minutes. Add garlic and cook, stirring, 1 minute. Add 1 cup stock and cook, stirring, 1 minute. Transfer mixture to a wide 8-quart heavy pot and add chicken, water, tomatoes, cayenne (if using), and remaining cup stock. Simmer, partially covered, until chicken is tender, about 30 minutes.

Preheat oven to 325°F.

Transfer chicken with tongs to a clean bowl and measure cooking liquid with vegetables, adding additional water as necessary to measure 7 cups. If over 7 cups, boil to reduce.

Stir rice into cooking liquid (in pot). Arrange chicken over rice (do not stir), then bring to a boil over high heat, uncovered, without stirring. Bake, covered, in middle of oven until rice is tender and most of liquid is absorbed, about 30 minutes. Remove from heat and let jambalaya stand, covered, 10 minutes. Gently stir in scallion greens, sausage, and salt to taste.
